Workout 12: 5-Miler

"The good news is that you don't have a stress fracture, the bad news is that you will." That's how I started out my morning with my orthopedist. Apparently, my feet are designed in a way that aren't good for long distance running. The answer: custom orthotic inserts. I should have them in two weeks. Also, I'm going to see the back doc tomorrow morning.

Today's run kind of sucked. I've had a sinus headache all day because of the weather. It's been near 70 here for three days in a row so the trees think it's time to start releasing pollen again. Not so good for the allergies. I got through it though. I ended up with 5 miles at 10:43 average pace and 164 avg HR.
