So today was a fairly straight-forward 3-Miler in HR Zone 1. I got to deal with 35 degrees and light rain, but, other than that, it was great. I ended up with avg HR of 163 and avg pace of 11:26. I should also note that, based on a recommendation, I have further targeted my HR Zone 1 to 155-166 instead of the former 140-160. This lets me actually go a little faster and stay in my zone but I find that it's hard for me to find a good rhythm within this zone. My body wants to settle into a rhythm either a little too fast or a little too slow. Anyway, I'll definitely be working on that in the coming weeks.
