Workout 16: 3-Miler

So the second workout of the day was pretty brutal. I had my makeup 3-miler from last week that I was going to do on Friday. I forgot how much my calf was hurting earlier but quickly remembered once I got out there. The wind was still stiff so that sucked. At the end of my run earlier today and now I had significant salt deposits on my face, which is never a good sign, furthering my point from earlier about feeling dehydrated. I finished 3 miles in 10:26 average pace and 166 average HR. I think my upped HR is expected given the fact that I finished a 6 mile run 4 hours before I started this one.

I'm pretty beat and looking forward to giving the legs a rest tomorrow. I'll be working on some core and upper body exercises.
